The Agrifood Investment Connector supports SMEs offering climate and nature solutions to the agrifood sector
We’re forging links between investors and agribusinesses in developing economies
The Connector identifies suitable agribusinesses and works with them to assess their climate and nature risks and impacts, in preparation for investor pitching and due diligence. In parallel, we identify interested investors and build understanding of their requirements, to facilitate meaningful connections with businesses. Read more about the agribusinesses we support here.
- Identification of eligible enterprises
- Strengthen climate (mitigation & adaptation/resilience) and nature/biodiversity offering
- Refine pitches/presentations
We specialise in adding climate and nature-specific elements to existing tools and approaches.
We build partnerships between agriculture accelerators, deal rooms, technical assistance programs, investor networks, and CLIC members. Through this partnership approach, we will avoid the duplication of efforts, and together develop high-quality pipelines and a solid understanding of investor requirements.
The Connector works with agrifood businesses operating in developing economies, including:
Agribusinesses adopting an ambitious set of climate and nature-smart practices across their operations
Companies offering products or services that identify or address climate and nature risks, or mitigate their impacts
Businesses seeking early-stage growth equity and mid-term working capital loans (<$1m), and larger enterprises seeking growth capital (>$1m)
