CLIC is seeking agriculture and food SMEs in Latin America and the Caribbean to apply for its Agrifood Investment Connector program. Applications for the 2024-25 cycle close on December 8, 2024.
What is the CLIC Connector?
The Agrifood Investment Connector is CLIC's platform to support early- and growth- stage agribusinesses to access to funding. We work with climate- and nature-positive enterprises across the agrifood value chain in emerging markets and developing economies.
What does the Connector do?
CLIC applies a data-driven, evidence-based methodology to assess agri-SMEs' climate and nature risks and impacts. We use international impact assessment tools and protocols to deliver credible estimates of agribusinesses' impacts. These assessments enable SMEs to credibly and clearly communicate their impacts to investors, funders, and other partners.
The CLIC team brings a wealth of expertise across the fields of climate and nature finance, capital raising, impact measurement, and communications to provide pro bono support to agribusinesses:
Who is eligible to apply?
We encourage you to apply if your business is:
- Ready to scale: Your business already has proof of concept and is in a position to scale, but needs to unlock funding to do so.
- Seeking commercial capital: You've primarily relied on bootstrapping and grants, and are now looking to move onto raise equity or debt funding.
- An impact-focused enterprise: Your business has a significant climate and nature impact, but needs assistance in measuring and quantifying that impact to engage investors.
