AFSF 2026: Climate and Nature Deal Room

The Conector is hosting its flagship climate and nature deal room at the Africa Food Systems Forum (AFSF) 2026. The event will showcase the our 2026 cohort of climate- and nature-positive agribusinesses in sub-Saharan Africa:

โ€‹๐ŸŒฝAfri-Farmers Market empowers Rwandan farmers through stronger market access and buyer connections. Farmers can access fair and predictable markets for their produce through aggregation, which is distributed through an integrated cold supply chain to reduce food loss.

๐ŸŒพAgri-Invest helps rice farmers in Cameroon reduce their reliance on synthetic fertilizers and pesticides by providing organic composting alternatives, biopesticides, and water-efficient cultivation techniques. Rice paddies are transformed into premium white rice through an integrated value chain, helping farmers reduce post-harvest losses.

๐ŸŽฃCoolCatch is modernizing aquaculture through their supply chain platform in Kenya and Uganda to reduce post-harvest losses while enabling greater access to low-emissions protein.

๐Ÿ“ฒ eSusFarm enables parametric insurance, milestone-based credit, and a compounding farmer score for smallholder farmers across Southern and East Africa. By partnering with telecoms providers, their technology builds dynamic risk profiles that can be used by insurers and banks to provide services to clients.

๐ŸŒKodu Technology turns plantain and banana plant waste into biodegradable sanitary pads that are both affordable and accessible for young girls and women across Ghana. The remaining agricultural residue is turned into compost, creating a circular economy dimension that benefits both communities and the environment.

๐Ÿ’งNimsy Agro Solar Concept helps smallholder farmers in Nigeria access solar-powered irrigation technology and displace diesel-powered pumps. Farmers using their solutions are increasing yields, incomes, and food security whilst also reducing carbon emissions and fuel costs.

๐ŸPollen Patrollers provide data and insights for beekeepers through patented IoT-enabled hives in Kenya, which helps them improve crop yields. Their platform monitors key hive conditions, including temperature, humidity, sound, and queen health, to help beekeepers maintain healthy colonies.

โ™ป๏ธRada 360 makes advanced agricultural technologies accessible and affordable for smallholder farmers in Tanzania. Their platform delivers real-time weather forecasts, early-warning alerts, and crop monitoring tools that help farmers make informed decisions to reduce crop losses.
